New Mack Daddy 4 Wedges from Callaway feature four grind options (C,S,W and new X Grind), along with proprietary Groove-in-Groove Technology for increased spin.
With Groove-in-Groove Technology, the aggressive main grooves in these wedges are saw-cut and horizontal milled to precise tolerances.
Inside each of these main grooves, a series of even more aggressive micro-grooves are cut in to increase spin significantly on a variety of shots.
This combination of grooves plus micro-grooves provides 84 different contact points and the extra Nip-It groove near the leading edge is used to provides added control.
This is the most rigorously tested and our-validated wedge ever offered by Callaway, leading to a more compact shape, straighter leading edge and tighter leading-edge radius. Sergio Garcia, Branden Grace, Xander Schauffele, Henrik Stenson, Wesley Bryan, Daniel Berger, Si Woo Kim, and Adam Hadwin are among the players who are already using these wedges on tour.
The 21 loft-bounce combinations include lofts of 46, 48, 50, 52, 54, 56, 58, 60 and 64 degrees, the most ever for a Callaway wedge.
Callaway’s system of four weight ports and milled aluminum medallions allows R&D to position the head’s centre of gravity progressively upward as loft increases for solid feel on every shot.
The Mack Daddy 4s come in Platinum Chrome or Black Matte finishes.
