The new JPX-EZ Forged Irons from Mizuno are designed with the tight dispersion of JPX-EZ series, but with the soft feel of Mizuno’s Grain Flow Forging process.
“The JPX-EZ Forged can’t be compared to anything,” said club engineer Chris Voshall.
“It matches up to game-improvement cast irons for distance and forgiveness, yet its Grain Flow Forged from a single billet of 1025E mild carbon steel. You’ve got all the game-improvement features you’ve ever had, but with a whole different level of feel,” he added.
Besides the 1025E Pure Select mild carbon steel billet, the JPX-EZ Forged has a Max undercut design in the four through seven iron for a larger, high energy rebound area, a deep centre of gravity and multi-thickness face for higher ball speed in a forged.
Custom set make-ups are also available, including mixed/combo sets or with JPX FLI-HI long iron alternatives.
