The new Mizuno JPX-825 irons feature varying degrees of coefficient of restitution (COR).
The four through seven irons feature Max COR, or a thin, hot face for greater ball speed leading to distance. Eight iron through gap wedge feature a Mid COR for precision on the scoring irons.
The 825s also have a Max MOI pocket cavity and extreme heel/toe weighting for a larger sweet area, while Harmonic Impact Technology is used for solid sound and feel at impact. They also have a multi-material electroform badge to enhance feel and add styling.
Other features include a triple cut sole design for better turf interaction and modified U-grooves for spin. The 825s are plated with nickel chrome as a finish.
