The new ZL Encore driver from Cobra features E9 face technology with dual roll.
“The ZL Encore driver uses a combination of technologies to provide added distance, accuracy and forgiveness to golfers’ drives,” said Tom Preece, vice president of research and development for Cobra Puma Golf.
“E9 face technology uses an elliptical face to give golfers added distance and accuracy from any point on the clubface, while the new canted bulge with dual roll design provides more distance and accuracy to shots hit above and below the centre line,” he added.
The ZL Encore also features a multi-material construction that utilizes a carbon fibre crown and sole, with a five per cent larger titanium body and face, along with a swing weight screw to offer better centre of gravity and improved moment of inertia.
Meanwhile, Adjustable Flight Technology offers three face angle settings (open, neutral and closed) from which to choose for improved distance and accuracy.
The ZL Encore is available in lofts of 8.5, 9.5, 10.5 and 11.5 degrees in men’s right handed models and 9.5 and 10.5 degrees in men’s left handed.
The 8.5 and 9.5 lofts feature the Fujikura Motore F1 shaft, while the 10.5 and 11.5 lofts come with a Fujikira Motore F3 shaft. Several shaft options are also available.
