Very often, a simple change leads to a nice touch for members and their guests.
This year, I’ve got a greeter out front who acts a bit like a concierge and it’s made quite a difference.
One of our greeters said, `I think we should serve coffee in the morning,’ so she was out there with a coffee station set up behind the podium, so that nobody sees it. Now, when people get there, they’re greeted with, `Hi, can I give you a coffee or a water?’
Some people in the morning are running for their tee times and don’t even have time to hit balls on the range and it’s just amazing how our members love the added touch of having a greeter.
If they have a question like `Have you seen my guest?’ or if a guest is new to Coppinwood, the greeter can direct them to where they need to be at the club.
I’m always trying to reinvent the wheel. I’m always going for great service. I’m always tryng to do new things and here I am, so excited that our greeter is offering a cup of coffee to our members.
It’s a simple thing, but very often, the best things in life are the simplest ones.
