Fall officially arrived on Wednesday. That means it’s decision time, if you haven’t made the call already on closing day.
Have you set the date or are you playing it by ear?
With the general consensus that the weather has been magnificent in most parts of the country (even some who experienced some strong storms or early snow at times), the golf operation where you’re employed may be tempted to squeeze a few more days out of the season.
If you’re in Atlantic Canada, where the season was late in starting after a brutal winter, operations may be trying to tack on the end what they didn’t get at the beginning of the schedule.
Of course, you run the risk of getting caught by an early winter storm, so many golf operations just prefer to set a closing date and stick to it, so they can get the golf course properly put to bed for the winter.
So what’s the deal at the golf operation where you’re employed? Have you set the date yet? That’s the question in this week’s GNN Poll.
