There isn’t any time to celebrate a GNN milestone and that probably explains why our archive section is an extensive one that’s been built since our launch in September, 2008.
This blog is the 1,000th post in GNN history and it’s becoming clear from readers’ comments that more and more are exploring our archives, as well as catching up on the news of the day through current postings.
In the GNN archives section, there is a special category for polls, including last week’s question that showed a strong majority of readers have come close to leaving the golf industry at one time or another in their careers.
That poll is still active in the archives section, but let’s follow up on that question since it was such an strong majority who say they have come close to getting out of the game.
Considering that most people replying to last week’s poll are still in the industry, there must be something that caused them to stay and my own theory is that it’s passion for their professions. However, there must have been something in particular that made them come close to getting out.
So wander over to the GNN Poll on the home page and offer your feedback on the new question:
As a follow-up to last week’s GNN Poll, what is it that made you consider leaving the golf industry?
