As of Thursday afternoon, there had been no public statement about the situation with the PGA of Quebec, so I’m assuming the PGA of Canada would prefer to keep the matter internal, even though it isn’t.
There has been talk in the industry and on social media, but many are confused about details after a letter from the national association went out to members a couple of days ago.
From what people are telling me, the Quebec zone ran into financial problems and the PGA of Canada has taken over day-to-day dealings, at least for now.
Of course, the less people know, the greater the speculation on what caused this to happen, although, in many ways, a lot of people aren’t surprised at the news from the Quebec zone.
We’ll try to follow this story, as best we can, as it develops.
