This week’s GNN Poll is a Part B to last week’s question.
If you recall, we asked if recent mainstream media stories about the decline of the golf industry will have a negative effect on future participation in the game.
Respondents left little doubt, with 71 per cent answering by Friday at noon that it will affect participation, with 29 per cent saying no, it won’t.
Now let’s look at the other side of the cash register.
It’s not as if these stories revealed anything new to people in the golf industry, but as we pointed out last week, there has been a constant barrage of bad news stories this past summer.
How is that affecting the attitudes of people in the golf industry? Is it hurting morale or do so many negative stories actually strengthen people as they get used to them or was it water off a duck in the first place for most people in the industry?
That’s the topic for this week’s GNN Poll, as I mentioned a Part B to last week’s poll.
You can answer below or on the GNN home page and, if you wish to expand your thoughts, please do so in the Comments section below.
