Before the federal budget came down last week, a poll of Canadians by Forum Research showed that 69 per cent of respondents said they are concerned about their financial security.
More people also thought the economy will worsen compared to those who felt it would get better this year.

Whether last week’s budget did anything to restore the confidence of Canadians remains to be seen.
Even more interesting will be if the first budget of the new Liberal majority will have any concrete stimulus for the economy and, ultimately, the financial security of Canadians.
