If you’ve been away or hibernating for the winter, you may not have heard about “Dad and the Dandelions,” a report that will appear on CBC’s The Nature of Things with David Suzuki on Thursday.
Environmental filmmaker Andrew Nisker goes looking for reasons for his father’s passing from the blood cancer Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and his search lands him in golf and the pesticides used on courses.
I’m reserving judgement on the report until I see it in its entirety on Thursday, but we thought we would ask you how you feel on the topic in this week’s GNN Poll. Working in the golf industry, where you may be employed at a golf course day to day or play the game regularly, do you feel at an elevated health risk due to the chemicals used?
You can answer below or on the GNN home page and please feel free to expand your thoughts in the Comments section below.
