Unless they’re casting a particularly gruesome horror movie, I don’t expect to be discovered during a brief stay in Los Angeles, which begins today.
Tomorrow’s schedule looks fun. After an adidas apparel review, it’s off to the Northern Trust Open at the Riviera Country Club, where will check out the new, massive TaylorMade tour van and interview players such as new Canadian Golf Hall of Fame inductee Mike Weir and Retief Goosen.
The day finishes off with a NBA game between the Lakers and Hawks, before an early rise the next morning to drive down the coast to Carlsbad, where we will get a look at new company products in several categories.
Mid-day is reserved for a sit-down with company chief technical officer Dr. Benoit Vincent, followed by lunch with president/chief executive officer Mark King, a meeting with teaching guru Jim Flick and time on the range.
All of that should provide good material for blogs and stories this week and in the near future and while we are scheduled to return on Thursday, there’s a pretty tight connection in Denver that has the potential to complicate matters, but business marches on thanks to wireless internet in airports.
Send out a search party if we’re missing for too long.
