Pettersson Flirts With 59
July 24, 2010 by GNN
Had Carl Pettersson’s putt on the 18th green at St. George’s Golf and Country Club veered slightly, he would have reached the legendary 59 mark in the third round of the RBC Canadian Open on Saturday. Petterson still posted a 10-under 60 and sits at 11 under for the tournament going into Sunday’s final round, good for a tie for second along with Tim Clark and Bob Estes.
