Open Field Finalized

 The 2010 RBC Canadian Open field will feature 13 Canadians and PGA Tour names such as Sean O’Hair, Camilo Villegas, Luke Donald, John Daly, Fred Couples, Retief Goosen, Paul Azinger and Rocco Mediate, among others, when it starts Thursday at Toronto’s St. George’s Golf and Country Club.

PGA Tour regulars Mike Weir, Stephen Ames and Graham DeLaet lead the list of Canadians, which also includes Ted Brown, Barrett Jarosch, David Hearn, Jon Mills, Cam Burke, Nick Taylor, Eugene Wong, Matt Hill and Dave Bunker.

Ben Boudreau, who won the 2009 Titleist and FootJoy Canadian PGA Club Professionals Championship, will also be in the field.

Six additional exemptions will be awarded after the Canadian Tour’s Players Cup in Winnipeg Sunday evening, when the winner of that event and the top five players on the Order of the Merit will get their tickets into the Open.

One player who will be missing is rising star Anthony Kim, who will be out following thumb surgery, but does plan to be at St. George’s.
