Hyperbolic SL Shoe Built For Performance
May 20, 2010 by GNN
Built with the same lightweight materials used in football, basketball and soccer, the Hyperbolic SL shoe from Callaway is designed for athletic performance.
The Callaway Comfort Tech Gel Tongue uses injection-molded gel tubes to disperse lace pressure more uniformly across the entire surface of the tongue for better circulation and comfort.
Outlast technology is a patented phase change material designed to absorb excess body heat, but also release it depending on the situation.
The Hyperbolic Micro-Fiber Upper is made with light microfibre to ensure that the foot stays snug and comfortable, while the heel-to-toe lift and low profile heel height are designed to keep the wearer in close contact with the ground.
New insole technology includes a shock heel to absorb impact, an SWT Forefoot Rebound to improve responsiveness and assist with weight transfer and Heel Grip Tech to prevent the heel from making unwanted movement.
Other features include a Cupped Hyperbolic Light Outsole for more direct weight transfer, stability and control, a Hyperbolic Stability Traction Loop to reduce overall weight and increase traction and stability and a new Chevron Comfort Spike for traction in various conditions.
