Rutledge To Play Montreal Event

Jim Rutledge of Victoria has received a sponsor’s exemption into the Montreal Championship, an inaugural Champions Tour event to be played at Club de golf Le Fontainebleau in Blainville, Que.

Rutledge already has a pair of starts on the Champions Tour this year, including a tie for 13th at last month’s Cap Cana Championship.
Rutledge became the second-oldest rookie in PGA Tour history in 2007 after finishing in 14th on the Nationwide Tour money list the previous season, when he won the New Zealand PGA Championship.
He is a six-time Canadian Tour winner who has also represented Canada at the World Cup and Dunhill Cup.
