Kevin Purcell, who spent the past 12 seasons as director of golf operations at Caledon Country Club, has taken over as general manager of Rebel Creek Golf Club in Petersburg, Ont.
“In a short period of time, Rebel Creek established itself as one of the premier public facilities in Southwestern Ontario and the No. 1 tournament course in Waterloo Region,” said Purcell.
I would like to see us build on the loyal member/customer base that has been established at the club to give members and guests an even better experience,” he said.
A past president of the Ontario PGA, Purcell continues as a national representative for Ontario on the Canadian PGA board of directors. He is also a member of the Ontario Golf Hall of Fame selection committee.
“Kevin has demonstrated strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, a rock-solid business sense and is a real people person. He will give us a fresh view on our golf operations and some new ideas as the club continues to evolve with a more member and family focus,” said Mike Milloy, a managing partner at Rebel Creek.
