PACE Passes At CPGA AGM

The highly-anticipated Professional Advancement, Career Enhancement (PACE) vote has seen the program approved by Canadian PGA members at the association’s annual general meeting in Moncton.

The program, which was defeated once, is designed to ensure that Canadian PGA members have standardized training and knowledge of the golf industry, support members throughout their careers, enhance career opportunities and encourage development in specialized fields.
“This is a giant leap forward for the Canadian PGA and the entire golf industry as a whole,” said incoming Canadian PGA president Glenn Cundari.

“We’re not afraid to say that we are working hard to help our members live a better life and earn a better living and this is a key component to making that happen,” he added.
