Weather Will Have More Impact Than Tiger

March 22, 2010 by

Following up on my previous blog about the return of Tiger Woods to the Masters having an effect on the golf industry, I went snooping around to get a few thoughts from folks who make their living in the game much to the chagrin of old pal Barrie McWha (see Comments).

It seems those people believe that the glorious weather across the country will have more of an impact than the long-awaited appearance of the world’s No. 1 player at Augusta in a few weeks.

You can have a look at what they said in a column I wrote for Sun Media by clicking here.

Also, be sure to drop by the GNN Poll on the home page to cast your vote on whether Tiger’s return will have any impact on the golf industry.

On a personal note, if you’ll forgive me, I’d like to say Happy Birthday to my daughter Vanessa, who turns 24 today, making dad feel that much older.

Congrats on your daughter’s birthday……wait until she turns 40, then you’ll feel older.
No chagrin on my part regarding Tiger……I just agree that the weather is more important to all of us in the golf game

Please feel free to tee it up ...
