Sunice Offers Multiple Options

Sunice has introduced three technical collections for 2010-2011.

The Hurricane Collection sets the bar for Sunice next fall and is intended to position the brand with its Gore-Tex performance shell, Paclite and stretch inserts and a lifetime waterproof guarantee.

Certain styles within the collection come with X-Static lining. Hurricane items are designed to be waterproof, windproof and highly breathable and feature a Pro-Trim waist cinching system, offer a Pro-Wipe club cleaner and waterproof YKK zippers with a pocket ball cleaner.

Other features include a wrist rain channel, lycra action cuff, Sunice patented V collar. Hurricane items can also be machine washed and dried.

The Tornado technical system features the proprietary fabric FlexVent and highlights the stretch/waterproof category with a four-year waterproof guarantee.

Designed to be breathable, comfortable, lightweight and quiet, other features include Wx-Tech coating, X-Static lining, Pro-Trim waist clinching system, Pro-Wipe club cleaners, waterproof YKK zippers, lycra action cuffs and a pocket ball cleaner.

Designed to be windproof, water-resistant and comfortable, the Sport Layers technical system offers three-layer construction, while offering freedom of movement and maintenance of a proper micro climate between the body and garment.

According to Mark Fletcher of the Fletcher Leisure Group in Montreal, Sunice is gaining outstanding mileage out of its relationship with Canada’s Olympic Broadcast Media Consortium.

Fletcher pointed out that on Day 2 in Vancouver, the women’s moguls final averaged 6.6-million viewers, peaking at eight million as Jenn Heil won Canada’s first medal. That made it one of the most-watched broadcasts on Canadian television this year.

What will follow looks to be beneficial for Sunice as it takes centre-stage with the consortium.

“The networks are getting record viewing audiences, so we are very excited about the exposure,” said Fletcher.
