Happy Holidays From GNN!

December 17, 2009 by

For those used to more verbiage in this little corner of GNN, be prepared for a shock with the holidays upon us. This one is short and sweet, with just one mission, that being to wish all GNN readers and advertisers the best of the holidays.

As mentioned here earlier this week,  GNN will be taking time off for a holiday breather, but I’ll be on call if any important stories break during that time.

In the meantime, we encourage GNN readers to go back through the archives and check out the year that was in 2009, perhaps using a couple of blogs I did earlier this week as a guide to pick some of the highlights.

It’s been an exciting first full year for GNN, a website that began with just Steve (whose creative firm – SeventyOne – built/manages the website) and I, but has since expanded to include such notable bloggers as Kevin Thistle, Kyle German, Tiffany Gordon, Tom Jackson and various other guest bloggers from around the industry.

GNN readers have responded well to the introduction of the first website ever devoted to the Canadian golf industry and the numbers continue to grow with a 30 per cent increase recently over the previous month and we’re only just getting started.

We appreciate the support of those readers and certainly the advertisers who realize that such an information vehicle for the Canadian industry needs their support as well.  I could go into the entire list, but instead suggest that you give their ads a click from the pages of GNN.

So, we have a lot to be thankful for at GNN and we look forward to new heights in 2010. On behalf of Steve and our bloggers, a short and sweet message.

Happy Holidays!
