MX-300s Offer Traditional Look
December 3, 2009 by GNN
The new Grain Flow Forged MX-300 irons from Mizuno, made from 1025E Pure Select mild carbon steel, offer a more traditional look with minimal progressive offset, a compact head size and modest sole.
The full cavity in the MX-300s contains reconfigured Y-Tune Pro technology for enhanced feel and control, as well as added forgiveness.
The milled pocket cavity in the three through seven irons redistributes 12 grams of discretionary weight low and deep to provide a high launch, while the scoring irons have a solid power bar design for solid feel and accuracy.
The impact sound and feel are enhanced through the use of Modal Analysis and the MX-300s feature modified U-grooves that conform to the condition of competition and a dual cambered sole design for playability from different lies.
