Canucks Advance At PGA Tour Q-School

Some familiar Canadian names will play at the final stage of PGA Tour Qualifying School Dec. 2-7 at Bear Lakes Country Club in West Palm Beach, Fla.
Canadians advancing include former PGA Tour players Jon Mills of Belleville, Ont., and David Hearn of Brantford, Ont., while Graham DeLaet of Weyburn, Sask., will play in the final stage after returning from this week’s World Cup in China.
In other news, Jim Rutledge of Victoria and Rod Spittle of Niagara Falls, Ont., both tied for 11th at Champions Tour qualifying school with 10-under scores at TPC Scottsdale in Arizona, but failed to get conditional status and will now have to Monday qualify in 2010.
