Solaire Lightens Up The Women’s Game
November 3, 2009 by GNN
Light is the operative word in Callaway’s new Solaire Golf Sets for women, which come in a nine-piece starter set and a 14-piece Improve Your Game set.
Lighter clubheads with higher lofts, lighter shafts and grips are all designed to maximize a women’s swing, according to Callaway, based on its research with a wide variety of female golfers.
The all-titanium Solaire driver features draw-biased weighting, while the stainless steel Solaire hybrids with Solid Contact Sole are designed to help women get out of trouble with ease, while performing with consistency on other parts of the golf course.
Meanwhile, the stainless steel Solaire irons have a wide sole design to promote solid, consistent contact and a low, deep centre of gravity to help get the ball in the air quickly and easily.
The all in one set includes driver, fairway woods, hybrids, irons, a putter and cart bag that includes an insulated pocket for food and beverages, a compartment in which to store golf shoes and other compartments for valuables, golf balls, tees, outerwear, etc.
