A minimum of three teams will qualify for the Omega Mission Hills World Cup to be held at the Mission Hills Golf Club in China, Nov. 26 – 29.

DeLaet will make his second consecutive appearance at the qualifier. Last year, he partnered Calgary’s Wes Heffernan through the qualifier and in the main event where they tied for 14th.

DeLaet has won two Canadian Tour events this year, which also included top fives on the South African Sunshine Tour. He has since move inside the top 175 in the World Rankings.

DeLaet also earned an exemption into second stage of PGA Tour qualifying school with his first place finish on the Canadian Tour’s Order of Merit.

Following the qualifier, DeLaet will leave for the European Tour’s Alfred Dunhill Cup at St. Andrews where he has earned a sponsor’s exemption.

Anderson won his third Canadian Tour title at the 2009 Desjardins Montreal Open. With three additional top five finishes, Anderson is third on the Canadian Tour’s Order of Merit and qualified based on his position.

I am a amateur non-playing golfer. I witnessed the 3rd round at McLeary of The Vancouver Open. The last group was Oliver Tubbs Brynn Parry and Stuart Anderson and The 2nd last group was Phil Jonas and Darryl Stubbs and it was good to see local Pro’s play a so-called mini-tour event for $5000 first prize. Possibly other local premier players might consider playing to contribute to the City and community of Vancouver B.C. It is only a suggestion as players travel extensively all over the Country and U.S.A. and The World to qualify and compete. It is always a thorn in one’s side the scrutiny of a player’s schedule the choice and their personal game but competing even in local community tournaments their game can only be benefited. Mr Stuart Anderson won the 2009 Guilford Open and was leading going into the Last round at The 2009 Vancouver Open and now he is headed with another Canadian for The World Cup competition for Canada and Brynn Parry winner of The 2009 Vancouver Open is headed for Q-school qualifying P.G.A. Tour.
